I realize we are continually fighting an uphill
battle trying to save our environment- from
global warming to oil spills to poisoning to
overfilled landfills. I feel that your group is
doing a great thing to help flatten our mountain
of a war with the environment.

My friend Susan Ferrandiz of Portsmouth, Penn,
near Slippery Rock (Susan and I are class of '61
Bushwick HS, NYC, alerted me to your current
assistance to the community around Slippery Rock
re. the threat by mining to the esker. At Wadalba,
60mi north of Sydney in a new growth area, we have
the battle of Wadalba Hill. This hill is high in
bio-diversity and has Aboriginal sites. However
the development industry has 3 applications before
Wyong Council (our local council) for over 120
houses, taking out 1/2 the hill. A google search
on Wadalba will provide info and our web site.
Otherwise send me an email.

Do you guys try to find homes for some of your
rescued critters? you should put pictures of any
reptiles you're trying to adopt out and/or some
sucess stories about some of the animals/reps
you've helped save.
